Are Portable Nebulizers As Effective As The Plug In Ones?
I am hoping to move to an apartment and won't have the luxury of a big vanity in my bathroom, so storing the plug-in and supplies will be a problem.
Thanks
I first used 02 in 2002 24/7 from necessity. I used a very aggressive diet and exercise plan to lose enough weight that I didn't need 02 for over 10 years. When I realized I couldn't keep my sats up during exercise, I asked my doc for a test so I could qualify for 02, and was prescribed it for sleep and exercise. Had I not asked, I would have continued to run low enough sats to compromise both my right heart and brain, so that was a no-brainer! Any time you can't keep your 02 sats up above 90 is a signal that 02 may be needed to supplement what you get from room air.
Hi, I only have the plug in to use so I keep it in the front room (somewhat concealed) so I can do my treatment and watch TV at the same time. And also, it is a bit more comfortable.
I bought a portable sonair few months ago, thought it was great at first till it slowly got weaker and no longer worked. So I got a plug in and what a difference.
Plus I could not handle the 7% salt in portable, had to water it down and hurt my lungs, so only used boiled water with a few drops of saline. But the plug in no problem though I mostly use 2.5 mg salbutamol now instead of the saline.
So I would say plug in all the way
Im in Canada and paid ard 70 for portable well 100 for plug in. Power of plug in (med pro) which made steam 10 times better IMO
I put myself on 24/7 weeks ago when I believed I might be getting pneumonia.
I will get a portable neb from Amazon tomorrow which will be a huge help, so thank you for that reply as well.
Either can work just fine. I have two portable ones that I use.
