To find a source just google POC/SOC and equipment. I have both POC and SOC. I have had to replace both due to being worn out. Both were Philips products. I would not recommend them as they both had a much shorter than expected service life. The POC was less than a year with an average use of 15 hours per week. The first SOC lasted two years, second one was two months, avg <60 hrs/week. A POC in Canada is around $4500.00 and the SOC are about $3000.00. I was lucky and get coverage as a senior and also the 1st 80% is covered by my insurance from my pre-disability employment.

Most countries require you to have a prescription for oxygen, concentrators, Cpap, bipap, and most other respiratory equipment. Masks for cpap/bipap/ventilator therapy are exemptions

You can buy them directly from the manufacturer if you want or you can go through any of the on-line stores. Most of them handle at least a couple of different ones you can choose from. The stationary concentrators designed for home use are generally somewhere between $500 to $1000; POCs are usually $3000 to $4000; occasionally you can find them for less. If you're on Medicare, they will pay for in home 02 and tanks or a POC (depending on your DME provider).

I have a POC I bought and I was required to have a prescription.
