Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions On Quit Smoking?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I have tried patches, magnets, E cigarettes and through the Quit campagain in Australia. The closest I have come to succeeding was with the patches until I got really sick with influenza A. Doesn't help when my husband is a smoker?

Try all of these. One will work for you and don't let your husband smoke in the house & make him eat peppermints after he smoke to take the smell away.

When YOU are ready to quit, you will because you know you should. Maybe you and hubby could quit together. Say have a prize for whomever can get and stay smoke free for say... 6 months. Maybe a little trip somewhere, with the money you saved from smoking. I know folks who have done this and it worked.

I tried all that. I even did chantix extra long. So I tried hypnosis, it helped a couple friends. But I never believed in it. Was 3 pack a day smoker. Had 4 on the way there and was ready to light one up after the appointment. It worked! I got out of that appointment and have never smoked again. I threw that pack away at the gustation. Someone smoking doesn't bother me, and have never craved it since. 1.5 years later.

Give it a try, you might be surprised like I was.

The best way to quit is do not rely on stop smoking aids, but have a positive will power to stop your self RIGHT NOW. 1 day at a time. Tell your husband no smoking in house. I quit cold turkey after going through what you are trying to do STOP COLD TURKEY RIGHT NOW!!
