Travel
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I would have the sea and beaches I have the opportunity to travel in the next year. What would be some suggestions for places to travel with COPD I have moderate copd and am on oxygen at night.
I live in Canada and would be flying out of Calgary.
Would love to hear of any semi-tropical or sea side places I could visit.

Make sure you have an order from your Dr and you will probably be able to rent one Stay away from hot humid places you won't be able to breathe in that air

Chronic Cough
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does everyone with COPD have a chronic horrendous cough? OR is the cough related to asthma? I have the chronic all the time. I have found that some of the coughing spells are triggered by several different smells. Anyone else experience. I do have asthma as well as the chronic bronchitis. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Invest in Bambillo bedding. Bamboo cotton sheets, pillowcases, and a Bambillo undersheet topper, or a merino wool undersheet topper with electric blanket. They're very good investments!

Does Anyone Else Experience Chest Pains In Connection With COPD?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I do quite often and sometimes its so bad I think I'm having a heart attack. Various tests have been done on my heart because of it but apparently everything is normal, so it's not my heart. I don't quite agree with that though. I DO have a heart condition. My heart beats too fast. I have no idea why and I've had a guts full of people in the medical profession saying that its NORMAL FOR ME!!! What the hell does THAT MEAN?! I also have low blood pressure that causes dizzy spells.
