Covid Vaccine
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

Do you think it is a lot more likely that Covid could be worse even fatal if not taken the vaccine? I have my reasons for not have taken it and have been fortunate not to have gotten Covid. I know some of you are thinking “has she lost her mind”? … I really haven’t

I thought, isn't it amazing that when the world is in crisis they drop Covid on us...twice. I only got three, what was required of me to get lung transplant. I don't get flu shots either. My mother is 92 and doesn't take any medication ( just vitamins ), never in her life had a flu shot or Covid shot and she is healthy as a horse. Yes figure out how to save your own life and turn off the news.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member🙇‍♀️🙌 I believe it’s a personal choice. I have gotten all of the Pfizer vaccines and haven’t had an adverse reaction to any of them. I also every year get the flu shot and this year the RSV vaccine. You do you. We all have to do what we feel is right for us. Get all of the information and make an informed choice.
God Bless you and Breathe Easy

I get flu and COVID vaccines and had COVID last January (the only symptom I had was fatigue so I slept for three days). I don't have bad reactions to any vaccine, so I get them regularly and usually avoid whatever the bug of the week is.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member and @A MyCOPDTeam Member at first my line of thought was anger at those who didn't get the shot, you were putting the rest of us in peril if you happened to get covid. Now I am thinking more like @A MyCOPDTeam Member. Get one if you think it necessary, or don't if you don't feel right about it. It's YOUR choice to make. I do think it is highly recommended for people with breathing disorders--like everyone on this site, but it's still your choice to make. Do a lot of reading up on the vaccines and make an informed decision as MerryMary said.
