Do You Bruise And Bleed Easily?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm trying to get some information on treating those purplish bruises that break and bleed. I know it's from blood thinner and other meds, but what do you do about it? Someone mentioned a cream one time, but I don't remember the name of it.

I bruise so easily too, my Doctor states it's because of the predazone I am almost always on.
I have been using helichrysum oil mixed with coconut oil and it does seem to help, also helps with pain.

Tea tree oil helps those under the skin blood spots heal faster. All the medications I take contribute to my problem. I don’t have to bump anything. Mine just appear but rubbing tea tree oil on the spots make them disappear faster. My skin is also dry and flaky and I use enough lotion for two or three people. Good luck.

KatieStrachen, when you cut yourself, you need to apply pressure to the wound which will stop the bleeding faster. I'm on blood thinners too and pressure always helps me. 😊
