What Effects Has Copd Caused On Your Teeth?
Thank you Jean.
I'm not aware of any inhalers that cause problems with teeth. I've been taking dry powder inhalers for years and haven't had any problems. I do brush my teeth thoroughly after I take the inhalers, but that's to prevent thrush, a yeast infection of the mouth tissue and gums.
Thank you Jean. I should of added copd medications such as inhalers.
I'm not aware of COPD causing any issues with teeth. It's certainly possible that if you have teeth that get infected, that can adversly affect your COPD. Teeth, nasal passages and airways are all interconnected and what affects one can certainly affect other parts. I know that infected teeth can have impact on COPD; I don't know that having COPD has any effect on teeth unless you get an infection.
