If you want to do something to help, make a donation to the American Lung Association or the COPD Foundation and designate it for research. Both organizations have a number of research projects going at all times and will be happy to have a contribution. I think we're all hoping for a cure at some point, or at least something that will stop the progression of the disease and research is what's going to give us the tools to do that.

Unfortunately, I don't have a cure, but I did find something that has been helping to relieve my cough and congestion. My mother always used it on me when I would get sick as a child. Vicks VaporRub. Something just told me to try it, so I did, and it works great. I rub it on my neck and chest just before bed. I cover it with a lightweight mens handkerchief to keep it from getting on my clothes. Make sure you wash your hands well. You don't want to get it in your eyes. And do not put it in your nostrils. I hope this helps. Take care everyone. ❤
