Any One Been Vaccinated With The RSV Vaccine Yet?
A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I must confess I am a bit nervous about this one as I have heard that folks are getting sick after this shot .

I got it.....my arm was sore for a day or two, but what I really noticed was the bruise I had! It stuck around for nearly a week. I don't know whether that was me tensing up, the guy who delivered the shot or the shot, but it was odd. Not upsetting, painful and definitely not debilitating in any way, just something I noticed that I don't think has happened before.

I received it about a month ago. It stung pretty bad when injected and my arm was more sore than with other vaccines. But no other side effects.

Thank you for the quick response! That's reassuring news. A sore arm is preferred over getting a nasty respiratory illness. People have been telling me folks have been getting ill following the shot. That's what created some hesitation on my part. Your experience is encouraging! Thank you!
