I found out that you can drink too much water. My potassiumlevel went all wonky ,the doctor and I talked about it and it was because of the amount of water I was having. It was just too much. 🙀🙀🙀

Hi Robin. I drink a lot of liquids most days. The majority of that is Water. That said, the Albuterol medicine we use is designed to relax muscles in the breathing passageways so more air can flow through. Muscles in the body do swell because they are low in water content.

My comparison would be like a flowing water hose laying on a drive way. A vehicle driving over the hose will go thump as it crosses over. Of course, the water is backed up and nothing gets through unless the trigger is pressed. When the faucet is turned off, the hose softens and no one can tell leaving out the garage. Albuterol doesn't remove water from our system but instead just relaxes the breathing tubes so they can work easily.

Many instruction sheets for using the nebulizer suggest rinsing the mouth before and after Albuterol treatment (but NOT swallowing the rinse water) to keep excess meds out of the body system. Water (and moister foods) are also critical in the digestion and nutrition process as well. Your doctor may have a different example of how this drugs truly functions and be able to explain what happening at both ends better that I can. Be well.

Mine actually moisturizes my nasal passages and throat. I use a face mask. I don't like the gun.

Do drink water afterwards as it dhidrates you , as for constipation dtink water too help you if that doesn’t work you can buy something over the counter in Chemists
