I lived in a small town in Nevada for 28 years at 6750 ft and when I first started feeling SOB I blamed it on the altitude and my anxiety. I moved to Oregon about 700 ft for the next 20 yrs and was diagnosed in 2019.. Last year we moved to the Southern Oregon coast about 100 ft. somewhat better with not much smog.

Flagstaff is almost 7000 feet, so if you live at sea level, you probably need to talk with your doc because you may need 02 there. There's a test called the High Altitude Simulation Test your doc should be able to arrange. That will let you know how much 02 you'll need.
