You can but must plug it into an electrical source.

I use it on trips, for weekend getaways. My Dr said ok but make sure you have your alarm on so if your not breathing it will wake you up.

Depends on the POC. If it's one that produces continuous flow, then yes, you certainly can. Most POCs are pulse dose only and it's not recommended to sleep with them because many of us don't inhale hard enough to trigger the pulse response. If you can't do that, you won't get 02 on any sort of consistent basis.
