Does Anyone Have A Inogen Oxygen Unit. If You Do, How Do You Like It? Pros Cons???

I have an Inogen POC; that's the portable unit, not the larger electric concentrator for the home. I'm reasonably happy with it, in that it is the most powerful of the POCs currently on the market. It's not perfect and I'd really like a unit that would produce more and weigh less, but for now, it's the best available.

Hi, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, have you looked into the Air Sep 5 portable for your needs if you ever need to buy a new portable oxygen concentrator?

I am thinking of getting a used one (maybe 699 bucks) so that I can get what I want with the various accessories and keep the costs under control if I can’t get one as a rental through Medicare. It’s supposed to allow up to 7 hours with the extra battery belt, so I’d probably need two of those for longer flights (since the airlines want portable oxygen users to have double the amount of battery life for any trips).

I’d be very interested in your experiences, if you’d care to share.

The setting I use depends on what I'm doing, so I might use any setting from 1 or 2 when on a plane to 5 or 6 when I'm shlepping luggage into a hotel.

And, while the guy in the original photo is wearing a larger unit, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, I’m really thinking of going with this smaller unit as a used model…. (See photo). I’ll need to figure out a possible back pack for it, though…

Thanks for the info @A MyCOPDTeam Member and Michael, I have so much to learn and I struggle using the portable and it's a lot to manage with all my other issues ☹️ I should have gotten it from Kaiser but bought it for myself and I'm lucky to have it. I also bought the home unit because it's small and only 18 pounds and I hoped to be able to take it in my car to visit friends in Oregon, but I wonder if I'll ever be able to do that again. Won't even try to fly to visit my friends in Colorado because I didn't like flying in the first place. Thanks for all the information 😀
