Is The Trilogy Machine The Same As C-pap?

No. The Trilogy is more like a bi-pap machine in that it offer support for both the inhale and the exhale. The Trilogy machine, after approval, was developed in 2009.
The Trilogy machine is much like a Bipap but can be more finely calibrated and adjusted to meet individual needs. Where as, a Bipap can be set at two separate flow rates, the Trilogy not only can be set at two separate flow rates but can also sense a person's breathing difficulties and adjust automatically to that particular patient's needs. It is also equipped with several different alarms so patient or caregiver can be alerted of possible dangers of problems.

Technically NOT. One machine deals with our Obstructive breathing problem, the other deals with Restrictive breathing problems. Your post gave you a link to a Resource article (above) about these two machine types and that will explain it better than most here. IF you were using a CPAP before that was probably a clue that COPD was on its way. be Well.
