There's been info on here good and bad and I think a lot of people would benefit hearing our experiences, and @A MyCOPDTeam Member knows lots about lots of different company's models, but it would be great if we put some info on our experiences with Inogen that would help people decide if they are interested it, trying one out or pursue seeing if medicare will provide one for them
If you want to you can put your unit info first and then any experience you have had using one. This is just for… read more

I have a G5. The hardest part for me was getting used to the pulse dose O2. But after a month I got it under control. I fell with it and it was noisier, called them and they replaced it next day. A year later, I had a low air warning and called them, again they replaced it with a new unit. They stand behind their warrantee.
Now they have an improved app that lets you know more info about the oxygen and stats. I use it all the time when I leave the house. I bought both a small and large battery. I have even used it plugged in over night on trips. Yes it has arms but you can turn the volume of them down or even off so nobody gets bothered. I find the no breath detected alarm to be most helpful for me.
All in all I am very satisfied with it.....

I bought an Inogen G5 about 3 1/2 years ago. I’ve had good luck with it. However, it only goes to 5 liters and I will be there soon.

I agree that the user manual is very confusing. Too many symbols and didn't know that some are not for me to service but for the company to service.

I have an Inogen Rove 6, only had since January. I have a smaller one that medicare provided. but wanted one that would last for longer period, &. little quieter for church, etc. It is good for up to 5 hrs at 2 liters, comes with a 2nd battery that goes up to 10 hrs, but I have so far not used 2 batteries Would. be good I guess for trips, but awfully heavy. The Roveis heavier than the RhythmCare provided. by Medicare, even with 1 battery. If not for noise factor I would Prefer the medicare unit, but it took a long time to get it & I was in a fizz to be able to get out without the wheeled tank! Got the Rove in 3 days. I was also impressed with. customer service on several calls, but last time I had question I gave up after on hold for 30 min. I also think the instruction manual is not user friendly, has a jillion alarm symbols, but unless u carried the manual with u, or even if u did, u might die. before u found what was wrong! Doesn’t have a good alphabetical index .
Perhaps I have not used it long enough to give a full review.
