Hello Hiram. I find that all my hoses get harder over time. I think it's a reaction to the Oxygen running through them but my friends don't know. They are ROCK Scientists, not Rocket 🚀! ! Just the same, new hoses are always softer. By the time you have these tangling issues, it's time to change them out for sanitary reasons any way.

Some people put them in the dryer for a few minuets to soften them, then they stretch it out. I just stretch it like Blue-Horse does.
