Today, stem cell treatment costs from $10,000 to $20,000 and there is no guarantee that the treatment will help.
When more research is done to determine why the treatment doesn’t always work, I would shy away from it. Stay with proven therapy’s.

Are you curious about stem cell therapy for COPD?

Stem cell research for COPD is still in early stages. The idea is to use adult stem cells from your own body—taken from blood, bone marrow, fat, or other tissues—to help repair damaged lung tissue.

In clinical trials, researchers have taken cells from participants, processed them, and reintroduced them back into the body to see if they could improve lung function or quality of life. While lab studies have shown promise, clinical trials haven't yet successfully replicated those results in people with COPD. The good news is that these treatments have been well-tolerated so far.

Important warning: Both the FDA and American Lung Association strongly caution against pursuing unregulated stem cell treatments from for-profit clinics or those offered in other countries. These unproven treatments can be risky and potentially dangerous.

If you're interested in stem cell therapy, look for legitimate clinical trials with proper oversight and informed consent processes. Regulated research today may help develop safe, effective treatments for the future.
