I took Daliresp for about 2 weeks and had to stop. It tore my stomach up and I had diarrhea that just kept getting worse. I was also having strange thoughts all the time, I thought about death all the time. Not thinking about doing away with myself, just weird thoughts. READ ALL OF THE SIDE EFFECTS so you will be aware. It is supposed to be a very good medicine if you do not have the side effects. My doctor told me that a lot of his patients couldn't take it because of the side effects. Let us know how you do on it.

Many docs suggest taking only half the prescribed dose or taking it every other day or even every third day to help get past the side effects. If you can get past those, people who take it have had very good results. They don't get sick nearly as often, don't have big full-blown exacerbations, aren't hospitalized and in general have gotten their lives back. I know a number of people for whom it's made a huge difference.

KarenMitchellWilliamson, you should try it, it will help with the shortness of breath. I found it took a little while before I got the full benefit from it but i won't be without it now..

I have been on dalisesp since 2015 and it has made my a huge difference, i also take predinsone 10mg every other day. My breathing has improved.!

Love it made my lungs feel clear.
