Any aerobic exercise is going to help your lungs become more efficient, assuming that you are adequately oxygenated. So water aerobics, water walking; anything that gets your heart rate up, makes you huff and puff a bit and gets you sweating will help, as long as you have adequ7ate O2 in your system.

Yes I do, when in water go snorkeling. I just finished several hours of snorkeling in Hawaii with big waves and pretty fish. Do it in a pool and dive for quarters. It's great exercise for your lungs. If you think this will kill you then make sure lifeguards are On duty.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member what is adequate? I have been pushed to exercise and I get very low O2 just getting from room to a room. The meter won`t read till I settle down a bit(rest) I would guess it is in the 70`s.
