I am smoke free since 2008 and don't miss it one bit. I 'm glad you're praying for people because some find it really really hard to quit. I didn't have a problem and quit cold turkey thanks to the many people praying for me.
I think we all hold our breaths, and may have done so all our lives. But now when we easily run short of air, have poor lung capasityand lung fungtion, we simply notice it more. Sometimes we let ourselves to breath very shllow breaths, to the point of not breathing ( holding the breath ) .
Thank you.. I am 7 years smoke free.... and pray for those trying to quit to find the strength. You will never regret quitting!
I quit smoking in 2007 when diagnosed with COPD it frightened and I stopped smoking from that day and gave all my cigarettes away I have never regretted it and am sure my condition has not too much worse as I packed up straight away I too did it cold turkey.
@ Anniecan , try not to get depressed. Most of us have our regrets about smoking but we have to think positive and go on from here. The main thing is to quit. ! Every day counts in making your lungs a little stronger .
