I strongly suggest doing 2 things.
Seek a second doctors opinion, but say nothing to the 2nd doctor about the other doctor or his diagnoses. Sometimes doctors tend to simply back each other (sometimes).
2nd, ask for a complete blood work done, to see if you are lacking anything. Sometimes when our bodies are lacking something, it can effect diffrent areas of our bodies, and everyone is alittle diffrent.
I had a doctor tell me about 12 yrs. ago that anyone over the age of 30, has copd. He said it just means we are getting older, and as we age, things just don't work as well. So we need to change our life stile that fits to our bodies. He also mentioned that being miss diagnosed, and given drugs and or inhalers, could do more harm than good, this included oxygen. So that gave me a feeling of " get a 2nd opionion, better to be safe than sorry ".
Remember too, don't just turn up the amount of oxygen you are using, thinking more is better. Because to much oxygen can have the reverse effect, to where you will have even more problems breathing. It's not wise to play doctor, but very important that you listen to your own body. And the very most important thing i can think of regarding your body, your life is pray, and give it to the Lord !

I don't understand O2 being too high. I know transplants are rough. Maybe get 3 to 5 more years to live. I knew a girl that had one , she was always at the hospital checking this checking that she had a miserable 5years. She told me the quality of life she had was not worth the surgery. Maybe it's better now hers was 10 years ago.

I understand there are different kinds of COPD. I don't cough or spit up mucus . I'm just short of breath.

Not everyone with emphysema has a cough or produces mucous. How were you diagnosed with COPD? How were you diagnosed with OSA? Waking to urinate is very common with OSA; you actually wake up because of breathing issues, but the urge to urinate is what you remember. The urge to urinate comes because your O2 sat levels are down.
