Hi All. My Doctor Wants To Switch Me From Atrovent And Advair To Spiriva And FloVent. What Is Anyones Experience With Flovent

I have read a little on flovent and wasn't impressed by what I read. I am finding it harder to breathe since I quit smoking 7 mos. ago and my PFT said the salbutamol wasn't doing anything. I already have the raspy voice and terribly dry mouth so that doesn't bother me. Has it worked well for anyone that has used it? TIA

My Doctor switched my Spiriva (Handihaler) to the new Spiriva (Respimat) . It is much easier to use and he says broadcast in the lungs much better.

Doni--I have been on Sprivia Respimat for less than 7 days now. I did experience a raspy voice yesterday but today it is normal. Dry mouth is common with the more drugs you take I am told by my Dentist. I have had dry mouth for years---They do make mouth washes for dry mouth.

I've been on spiders, for years, and it helps me a great deal, some days, it's the only thing to get mu old lungs to working

I take Advair and Spiriva Respimat. The doctor said the company was going to stop making the Spiriva Handihaler. I like what I am on and think it works well for me. I don't have any experience with Flovent though. Breathe easy.
