I have had two sleep studies. The first over five years ago was a "split night" First part of night without anything, then if indicated on comes the mask and experimentation with different settings which benefit you most. The second one a month ago was two night, and yes all the wires are connected both nights. Get a copy of your study and spend some time with it and I learned more than a few things. Hope this helps. The CPAP is a nuisance but what it did for my life was amazingly good.

I had the first part with no mask at all. Slept very little. When they do the studies here it is 2 nights. 2nd is with the mask I think.

U have never heard of a two nights doing this testings. It's only a one night and with all the lead on your head you won't move to much. I had my neck hurt for days after it.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member Yes I got your answer. I went thru all that the 1st night. I washed my hair 5 times before I finally got the gook out and my hair is short. I'm hoping they don't do that the 2nd time. I couldn't sleep with those things on my head. I had such a headache.
