Hi ,I had to be reminded how to because when we smoke we become mouth breathers instead of nose breathers and I can remeber walking around and pushing on my abdomen in my late forties and my mother would always say what’s the matter with your stomach your always holding it lol. I hadn’t noticed . But once I relearned about breathing deep through my nose all the way down below my belly button and blowing out of my mouth. They layed me on a table and put their hand literally to show me where and once I realized I put 2 and 2 together that all those years ago was when my COPD started to effect my breathing I wasn’t able to feel my deep breaths because I wasn’t taking any🥹! So if you still have trouble try laying down but we all should breath in through the nostrils out through the mouth.
