I agree with you. I thought maybe it was a reaction to the drugs I'm taking. Symbicort and Sprivial But smoking for years and getting older is a posibility also.

My skin is so thin I can bump into something I bruise, if my dog puts his paw, on my arm hard and his nails hit my skin I tear really bad and yes I bleed. My arms are so scared from my stubborn Malamute but I love him. I can not use a bandaide because when I go to take it off it will tear all my skin under it. CAUSE: STEROIDS I have to take steroids everyday and some of my sprays have steroids and of course getting older causes thinner skin. When you end up with a cold they give you higher steroids in the hospital they give you lots.

I have that issue as well but seems to vary in seriousness. I have attributed it to the steroids in the inhalers as well as a round of prednisone occasionally

I do the same thing--I think what the heck did I do now!!! I chalk up to getting older and the meds probably don't help

Symbicort and Spiriva are the best preventers I believe.
