I have the bloating I think that it is coming from my congestive heart failure, the heart is unable to pump all the fluids quickly enough so it pools. Any way I have tried to do some reflexology on my foot and it has helped me some. I also am taking a pure herbs HT which is suppose to help CHF but the only way you can get that is to become a distributor. Elevate legs every day for a while and drink plenty of water also. I also take magnesium liquid gels to prevent any constipation. Maybe this will help..... Breathe easy and God bless..
chf is congestive heart failure as copd damages the heart it loose is ability to pump the blood through the body like it once did. Then you end up with pools of fluids in your left leg or abdomen bloat seems to be the places they worry about for the copd patient. make sure you are being given as much diuretic as you can handle for your weight and drink plenty of water, walk allot and keep you leg up other than than not much you can do about it.
i thought I was the only one .....never thought it could be due to COPD
Yes Yes Yes~~~cannot lose a pound and when I do, the next day I gain it right back
You wouldn't think bloating would be a symptom of COPD, would you?
most people with copd have chf and that causes fluid build up which when trapped in the abdomen looks like bloat.
