The airline will allow portable oxygen concentrator so that fits under the seat. You must also have a letter from Doctor stating your O2 level. There is no charge for an extra seat. Check with your insurance ahead of time to get the portable concentrator. It can be used the entire time.

Oxygen tanks cannot be taken on airplanes, but most concentrators can.

Hi Edna, The supplier that I have for oxygen has a small canister on wheels that you just have to plug into an outlet to recharge it, so therefore you have constant oxygen no matter how long you are away.

Your best bet is to call the different airlines.... I was wondering the same thing or even on cruise ship is another question I was kicking around..... You would have to take a pile of cylinders to get you thro depending on your excursion... Life is Breath... Take Care

I used Southwest but my insurance paid for the concentrator. Your Primary care doctor request it for you. Don't wait to the last minute to make the request.
