Tryed everything I can think of to queit,gum,patches,e-cigarettes,even had my doctor give me some medication to queit but nothing worked.dose anyone have any ideas?
I found the book by Alan Carr, Quit Smoking The Easy Way...did the job for me. You have to be ready. This book reprogrammes your way of thinking. You really have to want to quit. Nicotine patches are a scam. It takes 3 days for nicotine to leave the body. We just grieve our loss. What loss is there in something that takes everything we have . Good luck & keep trying, you'll get there. Smoking is a personal choice. I believe we are brainwashed into believing smokes are hard to give up. Remember, 3 days & your body is nicotine free and...you're the boss !!
yes, just stop buying them, when you have thee urge to smoke, turn to something else, its a habit, a crutch if you like a hard one to overcome.dont give in, we are behind you cheers
I would not wish this on anyone, but I smoked for years, using every excuse for not being able to quit smoking. But it took going to the hospital and close to dying to turn off my cravings. It was a choice between dying or not smoking. I quit and that was several years ago and never picked up a cig since. The cravings never completely go away but you know yourself and you can work thru it and find a way that helps you, but the main thing is just do it!!! Good luck to ya and keep us all up to date.
To help me stay off the cigs my son introduced me to the vape it helps alot
