So @A MyCOPDTeam Member did I understand you, or not at all. Are you looking for the Smoking for Dummies book , or whatever the title might be? If so and that's what you want, call and talk to a librarian. I searched for a different Dummies book and couldn't find it at all. The librarian found it the second try, they are amazing creatures those librarians!!. Good luck

Quitting smoking with COPD is genuinely one of the hardest things to do, and it's okay if it takes several attempts β many people try multiple times before it sticks. The important thing is to never stop trying.
Here are some options that can help:
- Call 1-800-QUIT-NOW β a free helpline with support and resources
- Nicotine replacement therapy β patches, gum, or lozenges to manage cravings
- Ask your doctor about prescription medications to help quit
- Keep your hands busy β knitting, crafts, stress balls, or a walk can distract from cravings
- Hard candy can help when the urge to smoke strikes As one MyCOPDTeam member put it: *"Don't quit quitting."* It took them eight attempts, but they said it was the best thing they ever did for themselves.
Try starting each day with just one goal β *"I won't smoke today."* One day at a time really does work.
Quitting can actually help slow COPD's progression, so every smoke-free day is a win worth celebrating! πͺ
