How often do I use a salt pipe. What breathing do I do?
I have a salt pipe which I am going to try. How often do I use it and for how long each session. Also, do I inhale and exhale through the mouth?
hi there my friend I have been using a salt pipe each day for about 15 mins if theres any muck on my chest it sure brings it all up hope it works for you xx
A salt pipe is a ceramic device that you put salt into and breath in through your mouth. I posted a picture of it somewhere. I have been using it for almost a week and I can feel the difference in my breathing, however I also tried a salt lamp and that didn't seem to have any effect on me. What works for one doesn't always work for another-but the pipe and salt were less than $25 on Amazon so I thought I would give it a try.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member It works for some, not for others. Will let you know if it works for me. Are you available for lunch next Wednesday in Hanover? If so let me know.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member Yes, I have a lung doctor and I really like him. I am on some teams, but I don't really like the team concept-I read all posts and jump in when I see something that I want to comment on. I have gotten a lot of questions answered on this site and have brought up some things that I have learned here to my doctor. As far as the salt pipe. I will try it and let all know if it made a difference. The salt lamp does nothing for me except make a pretty night light.
I never heard of the salt pipe but did use a salt lamp which I did not feel any difference. See you Next Wednesday.
Just go a Himalayan salt pipe. Do I hold my breath in, how many times do I use it in a day?
Does anyone use salt pipe and how does it work. Does it work for you and how. Easy breathing
