Quitting smoking, even on the patches is proving to be harder than taking any of this news. I ended up buying a zero nicotine vapor because for me I think the habit is as bad as the addiction. I have heard conflicting opinions on COPD and electric vapes. Again it has no nicotine because I am on the patch and the main ingredient is vegetable juice. Opinions? Thoughts?

I'm also getting a little frustrated because my doctor prescribed Anoro Ellipita but it needed a PA for my insurance. He called… read more

In this world your body is going to be polluted by something. The air itself is polluted the food we eat and so on, we can only do the best we can . I wished I'd quit smoking 30 yrs. ago but, i didn't. Im not going to beat myself up for it, it is what it is. Love yourself and those who love you. . God Bless Remember no one is promised tomorrow.

Dana, where do you live? In Utah we have a help you quit and they send you the nicotine patches for free. I took the Chantix once and that was enough for me. I had crazy, scary dreams from it. I used the patches and Nicorette gum at the same time, and it worked for me.

I had to use both the patches and the 2mg. nicorette gum. After 50 years of smoking and too many to count failures to quit, I finally did it. Haven't had a smoke for 15 months.
