I LOVED TO SMOKE WHEN I DID BUT I knew I had to stop because I was having my fist grandchild to be born and I also taught at a preschool and I hated the smell of smoke on the kids as they came in or the parents ....so I decided 28 years ago, to stop....I did this ...I could not give up my smoke with my am coffee so I would have my coffee and put of the smoke for 20 minutes ...eventually I could just not have it..I also had to try this method with each one...believe me they are not all important to you just that you are bored or stressed or something...these are the ones you use chewing gum for...it eventually worked and I have to honestly say to this day I DO NOT MISS IT ONE BIT......in fact I cannot stand to be near anyone who has smoke on their clothes...nowdays that is not too often...yet since my last smoke was 28 years ago I still got COPD...but there were a lot of people around me who smoked then too...so give it a try..you can do it

Hi Heather, I was a smoker for 28 years and always had difficulty in giving up. I tried the patches, gum, anything that you could buy over the counter and none of them worked. I decided that I was going to try and give up on my own and I heard about the following book "EasyWay to Quit Smoking" by Allen Carr. I have not looked back from the day that I picked the book up. All the best with your journey I hope that you are successful in quitting.

2/3 is better than more. Don't feel guilty and just keep trying. I finally quit after I tried everything for 20 years. Praying and asking God for help is how I finally did it.
