yes, I have an alarm system, its called mepacs, andharther is right if you have a fall or you cant breathe set rhe alarm off, the only thing is it only works around the house, you can buy alarms from different places but expencive. I have seen one on a mobile phone, would have liked one but small income deterred me., with that if you are in town or other places it would be ideal,as for flying not sure how that would work.

whilst it will be of little comfort to those who live abroad but in England most Local Authorities have an alarm system that is very cheap in lots of areas and free to those on low income. One positive action that comes from this system is that it detects if you have had a fall and automatically calls a help centre and help is despatched. It can also detect heat in a property and if the temperature drops below a set value the alarm will be triggered. Technology has come a long way and telehealth is an increasing aid to living in the community

@A MyCOPDTeam Member yes I found I'd of liked the alarm pendant Ect but the cost and of course not working because of Heath , you would think they would be a subsidised option in uk still have to pay . If you total up for the year and you have to have a phone line to have the alert box the cost goes up beyond my reach yes what price is life ? I wish I could afford one to give myself peace of mind , we're in a austerity drive in uk any help been cut Ect , benefits for sick and disabled and services have been severely cut I'm afraid 😳 so have to hope nothing bad happens
