I've noticed that some days are better than others. Is it weather-related? Is sinus congestion (like from seasonal allergy) a factor? Some days go better when I take a Benadryl to start off the day and again at night. I've also noticed having episodes of shortness of breath a few hours after eating foods that are probably high-sodium: pizza, Italian beef, frozen dinners, deli lunchmeat, packaged hot dogs, etc. Is there any relationship between the two? Food has never been a problem for me. My blggest problem is what position I wake up in. If Ihave slipped down the bed during sleep my whole day can be a nightmare.
Eating too much is hardly ever a problem for me. Either I get tired of chewing or the food gets cold before I'm full. It's been hard for me to maintain the 80 pounds I'm carrying.
Some times eating too much adds to the breathing problem.
