Blue or Violet lights, when attached to an air purifier, are advertised as killing bacteria and virus's. I was hoping to direct it at spreading cells. - Just trying to apply one successful method toward another problem/
.
Light rays are used in healing in some areas. The Billy Rubion light with newborns comes to mind. Blue light has proven an asset against MRSA bacterial. It is also mentioned as working with lungs in some articles I have located. I am on a quest to learn how to use it and when. I thought it was worth learning about. Hence the question to others interested in similar situations.
What is blue light therapy? I have never heard of it
I have an air cleaner with violet light - I use it continually and I will say - it has to help with something - claims to remove virus and bacteria. - sure a lot easier to keep up on dusting- Smile
@A MyCOPDTeam Member I have been getting treatments with blue light therapy for two years. It has greatly slowed down the COPD and asthma. I am in Western Washington and on humid days I still have to be careful. I started having fewer exacerbations and sleep better. On good days I can take a few more breaks from the concentrator. I have been feeling better overall.
