Singulair (for allergy) has proven to be effective in COPD. It is a prescription drug. I take it daily.

It is when you catch something. Ordinarily, it's not. If you have allergies or sinus problems they can certainly cause nasal congestion. COPD is mostly chest congestion.

I do not think nasal congestion is a real symptom of COPD, that is likely allergy related affecting your sinuses. Just my thought but I have allergies real bad and they do affect my COPD but are not a symptom of COPD.
