I am looking for a generic inhaler comparable to dulera or Symbicort to help with my COPD / asthma.
My understanding is that there is a generic of Advair that's supposed to be in the pipeline; don't know anything more than that, really. I don't know who's making it or where, but it's supposed to be available. Both Symbicort and Advair are available from All Day Chemist (www.alldaychemist.com) at greatly reduced prices; I've bought my meds there for years and recommend them.
I take Spiriva respiramat and symbicort. I had an issue a couple months ago I went to the website for spiriva I now get it for 10.94 comp to 110.94. So I decided I was going to have to get script for my symbicort not wanting to find out what they were going to charge me for that. I went to their web site and I am going to get that free.
Aileen, talk with your doc about what his long term plan is for keeping you out of the hospital and exacerbation free. Ask about daliresp or azithromycin taken 3 times a week. Both have been shown to reduce inflammation and exacerbations.
JamesBell, hey James go up on this site to Jean's first posting. This sorted does have generic symbicort. Take care. Breathe Easy
