Due to a split up with ex running away with all I owned, I no longer have a CPAP so I've had to sleep with just my Oxygen via nasal cannula at night. I have this horrible sinus infection and started <a href="/treatments/antibiotics">antibiotics</a> yesterday. In 3 years I've been on oxygen I have woke without oxygen under ten times until the last 3 mornings in a row I've awakened gasping and without my cannula. I finally calm after my <a href="/treatments/nebulizer">nebulizer</a> treatment but I am experiencing the worst fatigue & sleeping excessively, I'm staying more short of breath as normal but not gasping like first thing in morning. Other symptoms I'm having are a sore tongue, rash (but I get rash sometimes) My sinus r horrible, my window slid down and was extremely cold in my room, I'm noticing I'm wiggling my fingers and toes a lot, my hands are a little tremory and will just jerk out of no where. If I'm holding something when it does it, It flies across room, me uncontrollably throwing it instead of dropping it. The last thing noticeably different is I can't think. I'm considered an intellect until this and I can't think of even simple words. I do have history of frequent PE's and Ive been intubated 12 times in last year and half. I just am SO tired of being in hospital and don't want to run there every time.

when l have a cold l have to use the mask with my oxygen because l cannot breath through my nose.

Maybe you could get something like a cpap except for O2 that you could strap in place at night I'm guessing by loosing your O2 this is causing your sleepiness and confusion. I would call Dr an see what he suggest. Take care, keep us updated and prayers being sent your way. So sorry your having such a rough time.

l am borderline for slept apnea so l can only get oxygy,but that's ok,l don't slept welll in cold weather wish summer was here.
