Another question.
I have been taking montlukast for about 8yrs it is suppose to help minimise inflamation in lungs. I have been taking Uniphylin for about 2 yrs and it is suppose to do the same thing. But i do not think i have benefited from either is anyone else on these medications and if so do you feel any benefits from them ?

@lan6241

Montelukast helps with some allergens for me too, but o also take zyrtec for what singulair doesn't cover.

I take it at night, as did some of my former patients.

I have taken Monkulast for about nine years. When the insurance wouldn't pay for it anymore I quit taking it for about a month. I noticed a difference, My doctor wrote a letter to the insurance company and they began paying for it again. As Jean said, talk with your doctor first before you stop taking any of your meds.
