Talk with your doc about what you can do to help yourself. One of the things you should hear about is exercise and perhaps pulmonary rehab. Daily exercise is one of the most important tools you have to improve your health and possibly get off O2. Use your O2 to keep you well-saturated during exercise so you can go harder, faster and longer than you possibly could without it. You will find that your O2 needs will decrease somewhat as you get into better shape. While you may not be able to get off supplementary O2 completely, you can drastically decrease your need for O2 if you work as hard as possible, making sure you're still in a safe zone. You don't want to run yourself into the ground and try to do more than you can with the resources you have, but if you push yourself slowly you will see great improvement.

I was able to bring my o2 level up to 98 after it was 85 or so without Oxycodone then when I left the hospital by clearing alot of mucus still left. My left lung was also still partially collapsed.
I used mucinex and an aerobika constantly. It helped me cough up stuff left deep in my lungs and within 2 weeks of cooking home my cat scan showed my lungs were cleared. Alot of work coughing but the aerobika really helped me.

Sorry, as yet I'm not on oxygen. I have copd chronic asthma, mild emphasemia and just been diagnosed with osteoporosis. 4 fractures in my spine. Luckily my oxygen Sat's are 98 to 99%.If you're oxygen sat, s are below 94%you will need it until it goes up. Good luck Nicky πŸ€— πŸ€— πŸ™
