Hi @A MyCOPDTeam Member....my Pulmonologist just opened the discussion of adding saline to my nebulizer. I see him again in a couple of weeks. I have been dealing with multiple bouts of aspiration pneumonia since October, and the phlegm with this type of pneumonia is extremely thick and sticky.

It's often prescribed for people who have lots of mucous and have trouble coughing it out. It does require a prescription. Talk with your pulmo.
