Here is the Fev1 result (rest I can't see as the print out wasn't good quality) does someone know what all this means?
Fev1 predict 86 actual 63. % predict 72 . Actual %69. %pred 80% . % change 12%
I think that you're reporting your FEV1 prior to a breathing treatment and after. Before the breathing treatment, your FEV1 was 63%; after the breathing treatment it was 69%. What this means is that you are in the moderate range of COPD, and should probably be taking a LAMA/LABA combination inhaler and be enrolled in a Pulmonary Rehab program.
FEV1 is the amount of air expelled in the first second of the test.(forced expiration volume). It helps the physician to determine the severity of your copd, and the the type of treatment that will benefit. It's actually not a bad result. Enter FEV1 in your computer's browser and you'll find many links etc. Welcome to the site, i hope you find the support you're looking for... we're a friendly bunch, you'll like it here..😊🍀
Jean....do you know anyone on this site that was diagnosed with CVI..chronic venous insuffiency...I also have Raynauds. ???? I'm scheduled for vein ablation soon and need some feedback. Thanks ... Spanky
Very difficult to understand. Had my breathing test yesterday. I had a FV-1 previously and that is suppose to be pretty good, I guess, for I was refused a handicap placard because they ( RMV) said my breathing was too good. Will see what this latest test shows.
Googled RV-1 but still hard to understand.
Which is the actual result? Like final number?
