No, but I do know people who have COPD, have had COVID-19 and survived. While we do tend to be at greater risk of getting the disease and of having complications if we do get it, there have been people with COPD who had minor or no symptoms, people who've been able to get over it at home and people who've been hospitalized, people who've been in the ICU and survived. And there are some who have died. COVID-19 isn't necessarily a death sentence for us. Given the number of people who have COPD, we haven't fared much worse than any other group and age seems to have been a more telling consideration than underlying co-morbidities.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't take precautions and be careful, make good choices and practice all the safeguards you're doing now. I'm saying be realistic. You don't have to be a hermit to be safe.

Had to be tested for COVID before my procedure Tuesday on Thursday and they told me to stay home & not be around anyone until Tuesday and it was negative!
