If you're troubled by mucous, mucinex and lots of water can help, regardless of when the mucous shows up. The hoarseness is an unfortunate side effect of many of the meds we take. Again, lots of water can help.

Unfortunately i think most of us suffer from throat mucus Trina , my doctor gave me Mucodyne but thats in the UK, but i have to say it helps very well, stay safe Hugs

Yes, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. The way the Better Breathers Club described it, the mucus in our breathing passages are crowding out our ability to breathe, and different times of the year / allergies / colds impact our mucus production, too.

I get hoarse from Spiriva. If I skip Spiriva for a couple of days, I turn into a soprano again, but if course I want to take my meds.
