They developed the Zephyr valve and got FDA approval for it to be used in the US about two and a half years ago. It essentially does the same thing as LVRS without the surgery. Read up about it and come back with questions.

I asked my doctor about that, he said no, he was against it. My neighbor has COPD and had the procedure done, he said it made him worse, now he’s on oxygen. Some doctors say yes, some say no. I trust my doctor

I always have a lot of phlegm. The mournings are the worst. It takes me a long time to clear my throat and nose. Any suggestions what to do about this?

I to have constant phlegm. It takes me a good hour in the morning to rid of it. I also do my nebulizer and that seems to help.
