It's a device like the acapella or aerobika and works exactly the same way. You blow into it, and it sets up vibrations in the bronchial tubes and lungs to loosed the mucous. You cough the junk up and out. It does not "suck the mucous right out"; you have to cough the stuff up. Some people have very good luck with any of these devices; some swear by the one they use. Others have no luck at all with them and rely on saline solution nebulizer treatments. If you have problems with mucous production and need help getting the stuff up and out, give it a try. They're not that expensive and if it works you've made a good purchase. Otherwise you haven't lost the family farm if it doesn't work.

I have an air Physio you breath. .into it and if you have mucus in your lungs you cough it up I was skeptical about it but after using it I was surprised I brought up mucus

I tried an otc mucous reliever called quaifenesin .it helps relieve chest congestion and break up the mucous.

It's worth the money if you have mucus in your lungs
