Anyone had colonoscopy with copd and oxygen dependency?

Yes I did have one in November. Anesthesiologist was great about making sure I was comfortable with him keeping track of me and woke me immediately after the procedure. I had expressed that I didn’t want to be groggy. He did as I asked and wouldn’t hesitate to have him take care of me again. Hope this helps.

I've had several and never a problem. If you're concerned, talk with both the doc doing the procedure and the anesthesiologist about your concerns. You want to be sure that both have worked with patients on O2 and know how to manage that. If you're really concerned, talk with your pulmonologist and see if they won't talk to the team.
