My pulmonologist recommended i discontinue my cpap and begin using a noninvasive ventilator when i sleep. He said COPD patients have felt better using these machines.

The Trilogy is very good at reducing the CO2 that you're retaining. That's why your shortness of breath has reduced. They have been very effective for people who retain CO2.

I have been using the trilogy 100 for several months. If you have been using a cpap then you should not have trouble using it. Took me a while because of anxiety and mask air leaks. Still have trouble with air leaks. I do not have to use oxygen as much. Mostly with strenuous stuff. Also helps a lot with shortness of breath. Have more energy. I highly recommend it. The air is not constant fast air. It inhales and exhales for you and helps rid carbon dioxide. Hope this helps.
