Night sweats are a common symptom in women who are having heart problems, though the symptom is sometimes mistaken as a sign of menopause. Speak with a Cardiologist, or your PCP and ask about congestive heart failure symptoms.

I think we all have night sweats once in awhile but when you're talking about COPD why not talk to your doctor or have him send you to a specialist who will do a spirometry test to find out the condition of your lungs and above all your general health.
Do you have problems breathing? I believe that may be the question you need to ask yourself.
