Might need to check with your Dr about an anxiety medication, if you aren't taking one. A lot of people on this site are taking anxiety medication, me included. It's like the chicken or egg question, SOB causes anxiety and anxiety causes SOB.

Your answer is dead on WallyMac.. When i am feeling short of breath, the panic attacks take over.. I am on 40mg of Paxil, but I still have bad days.. my o2 will drop into the 60's even with 3 1/2 liters.. when I am up and about.. I have to rest a lot..

Thank you so much for the suggestion. I am already on a plan to overcome or at least improve my panic/agoraphobia and gaining some strength would be a huge help and improve my life and confidence a lot. I appreciate the suggestion and hope you have a wonderful day.šŸ˜€

Hi Alice I understand your situations and Iā€™m sure others have problems that restrict them from exercising, if you can try sit down exercises if it helps.
Take care

Me as well I am on zoloft 200mg and xanax 2 a day, but still have overwhelming panic and agoraphobia. Just anxious thoughts even on 02 my sat can go from 95 to 75 in just a minute because I can't control my breathing.
